The state of Virginia requires that you complete 60 hours of classroom training with an approved school and pass the final exam with a 70% or better to qualify to take the licensing exam.
The licensing exam consists of two parts:
- National: 80 questions, 105 minute time limit - State: 40 questions, 45 minute time limit All questions are in multiple-choice format and the exam is administered by computer.
