More than $2,000 in proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity in Frederick and Warren Counties

July 3, 2002
In its First Annual Charity Golf Tournament, Coldwell Banker Premier Properties attracted more than 70 golfers and netted $2,200. Teaming with Quaker Homes and Success Mortgage, Premier Properties held the fundraiser at Jackson's Chase Golf Course in Front Royal, Va., where Quaker Homes is building a residential community.

"We're very pleased with the great turnout for our inaugural charity golf tournament," said Steve DuBrueler, owner of Coldwell Banker Premier Properties. "The entire Premier Properties team put a lot of work into this event and it paid off. We're excited to be able to divide the earnings equally between the Frederick County and Warren County divisions of Habitat for Humanity."

Traci Shoberg, a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Premier Properties and organizer of this year's event, added, "We plan to do this every year. It's for a great cause, and everyone had so much fun."

On July 2, Shoberg presented Linda Caley, head of the Frederick County Habitat for Humanity, a check for $1,100 and delivered another check for $1,100 to the Warren County division of Habitat for Humanity.
