December 4, 2002 - Traci Shoberg, a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Premier Properties, recently was elected to the nine-member board of directors of the Blue Ridge Association of REALTORSŪ. Selected by the Association's membership, Shoberg will begin her three-year term on the board on January 1, 2003.
 
According to Doug Dolan, the executive officer of the Blue Ridge Association of REALTORSŪ, the Association will formally install its new slate of officers and board members at its annual holiday gala on December 6, 2002.
 
"We're thrilled to have Traci join our board," said Dolan. "She's an energetic, enthusiastic member of the Association, and she exemplifies the professionalism the Association champions in the real estate community."

Shoberg has been active in the area real estate market for more than five years and earned her real estate license more than two years ago.
 
"I'm excited about being named to the board of the Blue Ridge Association of Realtors," said Shoberg. "The organization is taking off in leaps and bounds, and I want to play an active role in that growth."
 
This year, Shoberg was instrumental in organizing Coldwell Banker Premier Properties' First Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held in conjunction with Quaker Homes and Success Mortgage. The proceeds benefited the Frederick County and Warren County chapters of Habitat for Humanity. She also is a member of the board of directors of the Apple Tree Clubhouse Daycare and currently is chairperson of the Meeting and Events Committee of the Blue Ridge Association of REALTORSŪ.
 
Shoberg also recently earned the prestigious ABRŪ (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation from the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council of the National Association of REALTORSŪ. A small percentage of realtors nationwide hold the ABRŪ designation, which is awarded to those who successfully complete intensive buyer-oriented training and examination.
